Project Summary

Danica Ejendomme is building housing for more than 500 students in the Borgmestervangen area close to Nørrebro Station in Copenhagen. The project is ambitious, distinctive and it includes the construction of a 100m-tall housing tower with a public viewing pavilion on the roof. In order to qualify the project prior to the drafting of a local plan for the area, Danica Ejendomme hired Hauxner to draw up an urban strategic analysis of the project. The objective was to ensure that the project creates a good, socially sustainable environment in which to live and support a positive development in Outer Nørrebro.
