PROJECT SUMMARY

Globalization, urbanization and the technological development cause major regional changes and new local challenges that affect rural areas in particular. The Ministry of Immigration, Integration, and Housing wants an analysis of how to achieve success in urban development by means of temporary activities.

Together, GivRum and the law firm Bech-Bruun have made an analysis of temporality as a strategic tool in the development of cities in areas outside the country's growth centres. Hauxner has been an ongoing professional sparring partner for GivRum and has ensured a high quality in methods, cases and analysis.

The analysis has resulted in a publication, a how-to guide, and an online platform for professionals and interested parties to share knowledge and experience.

The publication analyzes a number of cases that are inspirational examples of five areas outside the country's growth centres, and it offers a toolbox of temporary methods or strategies. In addition, the report clarifies legal obstacles and potentials associated with temporary projects.
